Wellness-Unit SWEEET!

I’m basically a new member of The Fountain House. My unit is Wellness. I am really stoked about this unit,because I believe that one should be aware of the envirment around them. As well in keeping fit and and healthy. The wellness unit is in the progress in makeing a intro video on the whole gym. Just to “Leak” some things out,we are looking into filming the gym unit and making a short clip in what the gym has to offer, so its going to be sick! Just keep a watch out for it, and we have a dead line but… I guess that you’ll find out later!!!?? So “keep watch” 
As well spread the word about Fridays. Its the “Wellness Cafe.” The food is off the hook and healty too! (pumpking soup Woo!) Well I just have to say I am so excited to be a part of the Fountain House, its a fantastic place and I am extreamly grateful to be here. Thanks for reading!

Hi Angela! Your enthusiasm is oh so motivating. I’m here in Milwaukee Wisconsin at the ICCD Faculty Meeting. We just said goodbye to about 800 colleagues from Clubhouses all around the world who came out for the 14th International Seminar. There is a lot of excitement, curiosity, and an intense growing awareness of the need to take a look at keeping ourselves healthy. We’ve got Wellness colleagues all over. Some have great things going on in their clubs and have been working hard at it for some time now such as Genesis in Worcester and Yahara House in Madison. Many more Clubhouses are getting started. Edel from Enggarden in Denmark was at the Seminar and we reminded ourselves that we should be getting a Garden Exchange Project together this Spring. They’ve been feeding their Clubhouse from the garden for years! Jussie, from Denmark who spent some wonderful time with us in Horticulture is here for both 14IS and the Faculty meeting. I tell you, to see so many friends and colleagues does a heart a world of good. At our Integrating Heath and Wellness into the Clubhouse workshop Nuria and I invited colleagues to check out our blog and start sending their comments, ideas, and questions our way.
So I had to check in, see if anyone has shown up yet. I heard we had a terrific new member starting and here you are! I can’t wait to meet you next week, shake your hand, and get to some great work. So Cool … Ruth
